Environment & Sustainability Specialist
Aisha N. L. Zawedde is a dedicated environment and sustainability specialist with over ten years of experience helping organizations and communities integrate environmental and climate solutions into development programs. Her expertise spans environmental sustainability, social safeguards, climate-smart agriculture, and climate resilience. She has led and delivered training across Uganda and the Global South, collaborating with universities, NGOs, and development partners to strengthen capacity for environmental governance and sustainable development.
Having contributed to initiatives supported by USAID, JBN Consults, and other leading organizations, Aisha combines practical field experience with academic insight. She is passionate about empowering professionals to implement gender-inclusive, sustainable solutions that enhance resilience and advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
