"I am a thought leader in the Environment, Climate Change and Sustainability sectors, with over 14years’ experience and a demonstrable track record. I have work experience with the Government sector, nonprofit organizations and private sector. My career spans in the following topical areas - Environmental compliance and enforcement; Quality Assurance of the Environment and Social Due Diligence of various operations; Resource mobilization; Funding proposal development; Development and review of the environmental and social safeguard frameworks, policies, procedures and guidelines; Development Carbon Markets Strategy; Development and implementation of capacity building and training programs on environment social governance and development of organizational sustainability strategies. I have experience working with two global climate funds; the Adaptation Fund that finances projects and programs that help vulnerable communities in developing countries adapt to climate change and Green Climate Fund, the largest global fund dedicated to help fight climate change. My educational background includes a Master of Arts degree in Project Planning and Management from University of Nairobi, a bachelor’s degree of Environmental Planning and Management degree from Kenyatta University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Urban Management and Development from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Netherlands. I have strong analytical, communication, problem solving and leadership skills with a full appreciation of the commitment it takes to build a pipeline of sustainable business practices based on the organization’s needs and the existing business environments. The passion and energy I employ in my work is from a deep desire to be the change I wish to see in the world as we all work together to decode complex global climate change and sustainability challenges."
