Brian Ndambuki

M&E Associate

Brian Ndambuki Maina is a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist, Cultural anthropologist, and Researcher with over five years of experience in developing and managing programs, with a passion for using evidence-based methods to improve community-based development interventions. He is deeply invested in designing and applying participatory approaches in monitoring and evaluation, including techniques like the Most Significant Change (MSC), outcome mapping (OM), and Community Scorecard (CSC).

In recent years, Brian has focused his work in the Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASAL) regions of Kenya in addressing the unique challenges faced by communities in these areas. His work reflects a commitment to fostering sustainable development through evidence-based strategies and inclusive methodologies.

Brian holds a Master of Arts degree in Monitoring and Evaluation for Population and Development Programs from the Population Studies and Research Institute (PSRI) at the University of Nairobi. He is also an active member of the African Evaluation Association (AfrEA), contributing to regional knowledge sharing and capacity building in evaluation practices.
